On Friday, February 13, 2026, Marine Parents Travel Assistance sent Amanda, Mother of a recruit, to Parris Island for the recruit's graduation from Alpha Company to become a Marine.
The Travel Assistance Program helped make it possible for me to be there for my son. Being able to stand on the parade deck at Parris Island and hold him after graduation is a moment I will carry in my heart forever. Amanda, New Marine Mom
