On Friday, September 12, 2025, Marine Parents Travel Assistance sent Nicole & Christopher, Parents of a recruit, to San Diego for the recruit's graduation from Charlie Company to become a Marine.

Our son was in boot for 5.5 months, because he had a stress fracture of his leg from the knee down. I was chomping at the bit to see him. When I spotted him, tears of joy ran down my face. My son, who is not a hugger, hugged us hard! We could tell he dropped weight and gained a great deal of muscle in his cammies, but when I first caught a glimpse of his Charlie's, I could not believe the transformation! Both in appearance and character. He now has a direction, a mission, and a brotherhood. Thank you for making this possible. With my husband's double transplant and my mobility and medical issues, funds are tight. You made this miracle happen. You have no idea how much gratitude we have and how blessed we are by your gift.
